MetaWorks, a premiere source of information and advice on
evidence-based drug development and risk-management support,
announced several appointments to its business development
department. These appointments, designed to accommodate MetaWorks'
continuing growth, will fulfill a variety of key sales and
marketing, client relations, and account management responsibilities.

said Shubh L. Sethi, president and CEO of MetaWorks. "We
have added their leadership in response to our ambitious growth

Matthew
Bush has been promoted to Senior Director of Marketing and
Business Development. In addition to leading MetaWorks' business
development team, he will direct corporate partnership and
referral programs. Bush has more than 10 years of experience,
having been one of MetaWorks' first employees. His areas of
expertise are systematic literature review and health services
research, in addition to broad biopharmaceutical industry
knowledge.
Candace
Gunnarsson, Ed.D., has been appointed Director of Business
Development. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Gunnarsson,
who holds data sciences certification, owned and operated
S2 Statistical Solutions, Inc., a statistics and consulting
firm that provides data mining, capacity analysis, forecasting,
model building, control charting, and experiment-design services
to leading life sciences companies and other corporations.
Rebecca
Miller-Chiappinelli, R.Ph, newly appointed Director of Business
Development, brings more than 23 years of experience in managed
care, healthcare research, medical education, and policy development
for branded pharmaceuticals to MetaWorks. Most recently, she
served as Vice President and Account Group Supervisor at Torre
Lazur Managed Markets, where she led a managed care team dedicated
to building brands through strategic programming and tactics
focused on managed-market customers.
