Integrated Solution for Recruiters Is Launched

 

Jobster Inc. has partnered with talent lifecycle software vendor VirtualEdge Corporation to deliver an integrated recruiting solution that helps employers more efficiently target, engage and hire the best candidates.

"VirtualEdge customers are looking for innovative new ways to connect with passive talent in an increasingly competitive labor market," said Diane Smith, CEO of VirtualEdge. "We made a decision to partner with Jobster and plan to launch this integration quickly in order to make it easier for our clients to find qualified people for their openings, to build stronger talent pools and to get ahead of hiring demand."

According to the 2005 SHRM Human Capital Benchmarking Study, in the U.S. the average hire costs $7,123 and takes 37 days. In addition, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, unemployment rates are the lowest in over four years, making it more difficult to find quality talent to fill open positions.

The partnership resulted in the first live integration between VirtualEdge's applicant tracking system and Jobster's online recruiting service.
