Regional Accounting firm introduces
search and placement services
Pittsburg Business Times reported Alpern Rosenthal, the seventh-largest local accounting firm is turning what was once just a casual favor for its clients into a new business unit.
"Clients would ask us from time to time to find financial personnel for their positions. So we would," said Elisabeth Leach, director of marketing for Alpern Rosenthal.
To spearhead the program, it hired a human resources professional with a background in accounting.
Alpern begins its new corporate placement services group with an established database of financial professionals. It has been marketing the new service through direct mail and follow-up phone calls.
