Leading advisor on outsourcing transactions appoints
industry experts to drive international leadership

TPI, the world-leading advisor on outsourcing transactions, has recruited two of Europe``s top outsourcing professionals to provide executive depth for its European and international capabilities, which continue to expand to meet clients`` business needs. Duncan Aitchison joins TPI from Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGE&Y) where he was head of global outsourcing, while Simon Tarsh brings 20 years of consultancy experience, including 13 years with PA Consulting Group, where he was a partner

Duncan Aitchison has been appointed managing director, international, overseeing operations in Europe, as well as managing all TPI business outside of the Americas. This is a new post created to strengthen TPI``s position as the global sourcing advisor.

Simon Tarsh has joined TPI as a partner. Both Duncan and Simon will be based in London, England.

Aitchison joins TPI from CGE&Y where he was head of global outsourcing. In this role he led the firm``s outsourcing business, including major international transactions. Prior to the global role Aitchison was head of CGE&Y``s UK outsourcing business, which he ran during the merger of Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young.

Tarsh consulted for PA Consulting Group for 13 years, finishing his career with the firm as partner. While at PA Consulting he created a service team that specialised in providing outsourcing and change management advice to global companies in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and aerospace industries across Europe, US and Asia.

TPI Europe has advised on 30 European sourcing transactions during the last three years, valued in excess of EURO 250,000,000. The firm is forecasting growth to reach EURO four billion in transaction value during 2002.
