Major Financial Services firm
selects Temporary Staffing vendor
Beeline, the human capital automation business unit of MPS Group, Inc. (NYSE: MPS), announced today that Merrill Lynch, one of the world's leading financial management and advisory companies, has selected Beeline to automate and manage the procurement of their temporary staffing and consulting services.
Beeline provides a Web-based supplier-neutral and on-site vendor-neutral human capital management automation (HCMA) software solution. This leading technology assists companies and their suppliers with the acquisition and management of both full-time and contingent workers - many companies' single largest corporate expenditure.
Merrill Lynch utilizes internal and contingent labor to execute thousands of projects each year. Beeline will provide Merrill Lynch with a fully outsourced HCMA solution that will reduce costs on their current contingent work force, help them realize process efficiencies, enhance the management of supplier resources and human capital, and enforce cost management and policy guidelines. The HCMA solution will apply to Merrill Lynch's contingent work force, including information technology, clerical, and offshore resources.
"Leading organizations like Merrill Lynch recognize the need to manage and automate the procurement of contract labor," said Timothy D. Payne, president and chief executive officer of MPS Group. "We are looking forward to the opportunity to help Merrill Lynch improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of their contingent labor procurement process. This will be accomplished in various ways, including the optimization of time and expense procedures and fast access to ad hoc custom reporting."
"Our objective was to select a company that could deliver an advanced, comprehensive, and flexible solution," said Marc Marini, director, Technology Sourcing, Merrill Lynch. "The Beeline team consistently demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism, and proved to our teams, through current and past experience, that they are qualified to handle a project of our size and scope."
