Healthcare Corp., where he developed and tested cell processing
systems for gene and cell therapies. He has also designed
and made operational cell processing facilities, co-developed
an ISO-compliant quality system and created products for closed
systems cell processing. Dr. Maples earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health
Sciences Center and performed his post-doctoral training at
the
University of Chicago. Dr. Hardwick brings more than 21 years

experience. Prior to Chromos, she was General Manager at The
Nettwerk Group, a group of
international entertainment companies headquartered in Vancouver,
Canada. Ms. Hayashi is a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of British
Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from
the University of British Columbia. In her new position, Ms.

overseeing the Company's financial operations and investor
relations. On April 28, 2004 Chromos announced that Tom Mamic
had been appointed President and CEO of Agrisoma Biosciences
Inc. ("Agrisoma"), a Chromos
spin-out focused on plant applications of Chromos' ACE System.
With Ms. Hayashi's appointment, Tom Mamic will step down as
Chromos' VP Finance and Chief Financial Officer in order to
devote his full attention to Agrisoma.
"Ms. Hayashi's promotion further solidifies the Company's
management team," said Mr. Duncan. "Her broad experience
