Dallas-based
Rogers-O'Brien Construction Co. has merged with Construction
Partners Commercial LP, a company with offices in Austin and
San Antonio.
The new firm will be known as Rogers-O'Brien and will maintain
offices in all three cities. Its headquarters will remain
in Dallas.
The
merger expands Rogers-O'Brien's operations in the Lone Star
State, allowing the firm to compete for more office, industrial,
health care, retail, educational and religious projects, as
well as some residential construction.
"We
see our merger as a positive synergy of talent, expertise
and timing," says Preston McAfee, who is president and
CEO of Rogers-O'Brien. Going forward, the company will focus
on landing new work throughout North, Central and South Texas.
Rogers-O'Brien
was founded in 1969 and has built a number of projects for
local and national clients. Construction Partners was formed
in 2003.
