Mr. Story has served as President and CEO of INROADS, Inc. since January of 1993. Prior to his appointment as President & CEO, he was Executive Vice President for Operations. He has also served INROADS as a Regional Director and a Vice President. He originally joined the INROADS organization in 1978 as the first director of the Nashville affiliate.

In 1987, Mr. Story served as Assistant Commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. From 1989-1991, he served as Vice President with First American National Bank in Nashville.

Mr. Story graduated summa cum laude from Fisk University with a dual major in psychology and management. He completed his master's degree in public administration in a joint program at the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University.

Mr. Story's community involvement has included the 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, Inc., Goodwill Industries, Watkins Institute and the Center for Non-Profit Management. An alumnus of Leadership Nashville and Leadership St. Louis, Mr. Story is a member of the governing boards of Briggs & Stratton Corporation and ChoicePoint, Inc. and serves on the advisory board of AmSouth Bank in Nashville.
