Top 100 Most Influential People in the Recruiting Industry |
 |
|
For
the first time, the people who have helped
shape the recruiting industry, by creating
new business models, processes and infrastructures,
are being recognized for their contributions.
The information deliverers who keep us informed.
The builder-farmers, who have brought their
organizations to the next level, are recognized
as well. The process was daunting. Our industry
has tremendous depth and breath. Influential
individuals were selected from the industry's
primary sectors: Permanent Retained and Contingency
Search, Temporary Staffing,Consulting/ Information
Technology,HR/Corporate Recruiting, Campus
Recruiting, Diversity, On-line Recruiting
and Industry Service Providers |
|
| |
|
| |
Our selection criteria was based on, the extent
to which these professionals
boosted productivity.Introducing new processes,
systems, business models, technologies, or a combination.
Some of these people are "collaborators",
builders of networks and community through developing
portals, franchises, and associations. Others are
"information service providers", who track,
report and analyze particular segments of the industry
to offer mission critical business data. Then there
are the "marketers", who have built or
used branding to increase their effectiveness. A
large number of marketers head up human capital
acquisition, delivery firms and professional organizations |
|
| |
After
creating a list of potential candidates,
we screened for impact. We considered
factors such as the historical importance
of their contribution, the depth of
their contribution to the industry,
the degree to which they have empowered
industry convergence, the number of
professional staff under their direction,
and the number of people they hire annually.
We also followed the money, looking
for individuals who distinguished themselves
by attracting or making significant
use of their capital. |
