Sanofi Mum on Genzyme as It Posts Higher Profit
Sanofi-Aventis , the French pharmaceutical company considering an $18.6 billion bid for the U.S. biotechnology firm Genzyme , said profits jumped in the second quarter due to strong sales of its diabetes drugs and the weaker euro, Chris V. Nicholson and Michael J. de la Merced report in The New York Times.
