RPO Provider Moves Even Higher on Baker's Dozen

The RightThing, Inc. is continuing its rapid ascent up the list of the nation's elite Tier 1 Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firms, according to the latest rankings released by HRO Today magazine.

The RightThing earned a #4 ranking for 2007, up several spots from its previous years in the top 10. A Tier 1 firm, the highest category in the survey, is one that places 30,000 hires or more annually.

HRO Today calls The RightThing "one of the fastest-growing RPO providers in the U.S.," and notes its numerous client wins in the past four years in the July/Aug. 2007 edition. The publication is in its fifth year of conducting this survey known as the "Baker's Dozen" and selected from nearly 100 providers this year. It adds that The RightThing is among a small group of domestic firms "…fighting it out at the top of the list among the broad-based providers and pretty close in ratings. The customer data validate the market battle among the largest providers here in North America."

A pioneer in the new wave of customized RPO, The RightThing's national and global services span sourcing and recruiting, intake, prescreening, testing, interviewing and on-boarding for a diverse client list including several Fortune 100 companies. The published rankings noted several of those clients, including Novartis, Unisys, Rohm and Haas, Itron and Sky Financial Group.

"Our team has nearly 20 years experience in end-to-end RPO. And with our imminent national and global growth, we expect to continue our ascent through the top five with our ultimate focus on earning that number one spot," said Terry Terhark, president of The RightThing. "It's also unique that we are among the best of the best in the country, and we can remain independently owned and managed. That combination makes a tremendously positive difference to our clients, especially in terms of the criteria used in this survey."

According to HRO Today, this year's list was derived by generating a survey that was comprised of 23 qualitative and quantitative questions. The survey items examined the components of RPO service to arrive at an index shown as Overall Breadth of Service. Other categories measured included Program Size and Quality of Service.

Other recent highlights for The RightThing include a repeat listing as one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America, and opening the industry's first Recruitment Operations Center near Philadelphia.

The Recruitment Operations Center will further balance The RightThing's expertise in process-driven tactics with a renewed commitment to the latest recruiting strategies. This stand-alone center is a first in the industry and is focusing solely on supporting the direct recruiting needs of The RightThing's clients.

Unlike any other RPO firm on the Baker's Dozen list, The RightThing is now uniquely able to engage incremental recruiting strategies to aggressively recruit the country's top candidates. Methods such as competitive organizational mapping, advanced Internet searching, direct recruiting, and the use of blogs are a few tools that will provide client teams' guidance and support to bolster their traditional sourcing methods
