Despite January's lackluster jobs report, overall current job market sentiment hit an all-time high of 3.5 in February. More than half of recruiters feel the job market is heating up, compared to 17.7 percent who feel it is cooling down. The average workload stayed steady at 18 open roles per recruiter. Importantly, the year-over-year workload gap continues to narrow, and average workloads for February 2021 were only 5.3 percent lower than average workloads in February 2020.
