This is the company’s third consecutive honor. Aquent, which specializes in providing Fortune 500 companies with in-demand digital creative talent, received top honors for “Best Client Service” and “Best Job Candidate Experience.”

“This award recognizes our passion for pushing the envelope with innovative solutions that move both our clients and our talent forward. For example, we are acutely aware of the growing need for digital creative talent with specialized skills,” said Ann Webster, president of Aquent. “We work with both our clients and talent to pinpoint which skills they’ll need next, then use forward-thinking programs like Aquent Gymnasium to arm them with those skills. Over 19,000 digital creatives are currently learning to code and developing responsive web design portfolios through Aquent Gymnasium.”

According to Inavero, its Best of Staffing® lists are the nation’s only awards that recognize staffing agencies that receive remarkable reviews from their clients and the people they help find jobs. Inavero selects winners based on a four-step process:

  • Survey agencies’ clients and talent
  • Provide actionable feedback
  • Validate data and provide reports
  • Award agencies with the best service

Aquent’s recognition this year was significantly impacted by Aquent Gymnasium, a free offering of online courses that teaches digital designers and front-end developers today’s most in-demand skills. The Gymnasium is designed to bridge the skills gap by offering courses such as Coding for Designers and Responsive Web Design.

“Gymnasium is addressing the Skills Gap in two ways. First of all, we’re doing extensive research to identify precisely those skills which are in greatest demand. Then, we are providing free, practical training that teach those skills,” Andrew Miller, Program director for Aquent Gymnasium, said. “We believe that this practical focus is key. It’s the main reason we ask working practitioners to teach our courses. It’s also why our courses aren’t introductory in nature. We assume that students have a strong base and simply need to expand their existing skill set in the right direction.”
