outlook integration for sugarcrm Business-solutions company BrainSell has announced the release of BrainLink, a SugarCRM plugin for Outlook. BrainLink provides bi-directional syncing of emails, contacts and meetings, and offers a side panel that shows real-time information from Sugar within the Outlook interface. Sugar users using Outlook can do much of their CRM work from within their email client including: viewing, editing and adding meetings, opportunities, notes, leads, contacts, accounts and cases. Users can also opt to sync all emails to or from a contact automatically, something that Sugar’s native client is not capable of.

The technology is also available in an Exchange only version called BrainExchange. This allows email admins to set up the sync for an entire enterprise without installing client-side applications. In this transparent integration, all emails sent or received would be archived to the CRM system. BrainLink is priced at $12 per user per month, BrainExchange is $10 per user per month.

“We have no doubt that developing applications to help Sugar users will result in a positive impact,” said Jim Ward, president and CEO of BrainSell. “BrainLink makes Sugar even easier to use, by allowing people to work from a platform that they know and spend the majority of their time in, Outlook. We’re thrilled to be releasing such a user-friendly and impactful product.”

BrainSell is certified in a host of other CRM products including:

• Salesforce.com

• Microsoft Dynamics CRM

• Act!

• Sage CRM

• SalesLogix

• Wicked Simple CRM
