brosixCommunications software developer Brosix has officially released the newest version of its workplace instant messaging system, adding major new features such as high-quality video and voice chat and echo cancellation. The program is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. Other new features include missed event notifications, global shortcut keys, away time management (network administrator-only access), and more. The updated feature set was developed directly from user and developer feedback. The recent update also adds support for the mobile Android and iOS versions.

“We wanted to not only improve the experience Brosix users have when utilizing our video and voice chat features, but to also improve the way Brosix worked as a whole for our customers,” said Stefan Chekanov, CEO of Brosix, “The new features and updates in this most recent release certainly reflect that.”

In giving users a new level of control of their contact list and ordering of plug-ins, Brosix 3.2 improves its contacts list offering drag and drop group management functionality, contacts list search, and the addition of new themes. Also, plug-ins may be ordered in the tool bar based on user preference. Multiple files may now be transferred to Windows Explorer in a single folder instead of file by file. The client has also been optimized to better work with Windows 7 and Mac OS and supports 13 languages including Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
