iappreciate app gets update

O.C. Tanner, provider of strategic employee recognition solutions, has announced an enhanced version of its pioneering employee appreciation app, iappreciate. The app, designed to give managers the tools to recognize exceptional employees on mobile platforms, now has a suite of additional benefits and features to help share employee recognition with peer groups. Clients can now use the app to create recognition presentations and the tools to broadcast these presentations to whole teams.

Additionally, users are now able to nominate employees for awards while securing management approvals for the awards making the nomination process speedier and more streamlined. The new features are presented within a more intuitive interface that help managers to more easily create presentations, plan recognition events, invite speakers, create certificates, and draft speeches. iappreciate also allows users to send brief e-notes to congratulate top performers while setting reminders for dates such as birthdays and anniversaries.

“We want to give our clients the latest ideas, tools and technology to help them notice effort, reward results and celebrate the career milestones of their people,” Joel Dehlin, O.C. Tanner chief technology officer, said. “With the new enhancements and refinements to iappreciate, O.C. Tanner is making it more convenient for our clients to tap into the power of recognition via their mobile devices to create memorable employee appreciation moments anytime, anywhere.”

The free app is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and the app’s company website.
