Paychex Streamlines Workforce Management with New SaaS Platform
Paychex Inc. has announced a new SaaS platform combining technology and customer service providing HR administrators an alternative way to manage their workforces. The cloud-based platform gives access to payroll, time and attendance, HR, benefits, training, and performance management services with a single sign-in. Users can complete all payroll and HR functions themselves or give permission to employees or partners to perform them.
“We developed this next generation of Paychex technology using a ground-up approach,” said Michael Gioja, Paychex senior vice president of information technology, product management, and development. “By doing this, we’re able to drive the latest features and functionality to a broader range of clients, and give them the options they want today, with the foundation for the options they’ll need tomorrow.”
The platform offers a customizable desktop with custom workflows and integration with Paychex Mobile and Paychex Online for working across devices. The offering drives user productivity through an intuitive user interface with context-aware settings that anticipate user needs. The new service uses a single data source for all applications and function to keep data centralized and immediately available in other applications.
Paychex Report Center grants users easy access to over 140 customizable reports for businesses and immediate access to the most requested reports through Reports on Demand. Users can retrieve data in a number of spreadsheet formats through Paychex Data Exports for creating original graphs or importing data from third-party software. Paychex Report Writer lets user create ad-hoc reports for the unique needs of some organizations.
