newsAs long as you don’t do anything too sketchy, should you bother worrying about what you share online? Although it might be obvious not to post self-incriminating photos or racy memoirs, there may be some fuzzy judgment calls about what information to share and what to protect.  Being informed about these issues is probably a good idea– especially if you make your living by spending a lot of time on social networking sites.

In an upcoming live webinar, a licensed private investigator with over 20 years of experience will be revealing the insides to open source investigations, and what you need to do to protect yourself online.  Kevin G. Connell, founder of the company AccuScreen.com, and private investigator Michele Stuart will host the webinar live on January 18th at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Connell and Stuart will illuminate attendees on how to protect oneself online.  Connell noted, “We feel that this webinar is crucial for all of our clients to understand how to protect themselves and their families on the internet. I have heard Michele Stuart speak and was completely impressed with her knowledge and insight on open source investigations. I wanted to provide an opportunity for others to hear her phenomenal presentation. It will definitely make you think twice about what things you do on the internet.”

In addition to looking at specific examples of online content concerns, the webinar will provide research techniques for finding individuals’ information, and give you free advice on how to identify the authenticity related to online information.
