Universum Expands U.S. Presence, Sets Sight on Ambitious Campaign in 2012
Universum, a global leader in employer branding, has recently opened a new branch office in New York City. This North American expansion – coupled with the acquisition of a new team for the office – lays the framework for a strategic campaign aimed at North American and South American markets in 2012.
“I am very pleased to announce that we are expanding in the U.S. with better service and an even stronger offer to our clients by bringing in new experienced senior management, new colleagues and launching a New York office,” Universum CEO, Petter Nylander, said. “Together with existing colleagues in the Americas and globally we will continue our ambition to build a world leader within employer branding.”
Headquartered in Stockholm, the latest NYC location now gives Universum a worldwide count of 12 office locations. Some personnel from Universum’s Philadelphia branch will be joining the new talent in NYC. One of the new team members, Chris Cordery, was previously Managing Director for CareerBuilder, and now joins Universum as Head of U.S. Operations. Leading the 2012 initiative, Cordery will oversee the United States, Canadian and South American regions of Universum and direct the U.S. sales team, collaborate with Universum’s global management team, and monitor all client interaction.
