About Me

Having finished professional qualification in Masters of Public Administration, strated a journey of my career in Bata, a multinational Canadian based Compnay in Human Resourse at different Managerial position from 1993 to 2006 and was instumental in implementing and dealing with all relevant HR practices viz promotions, transfers, relocations, performance appraisals, man power planning etc. Major responsibilities carried out were : Admin Role: - To Identify the training needs and to conduct various need-based training programme. - To strengthen Management-union relations agreed upon through negotiations or MOU’s. - To maintain harmonious industrial relations with the Employees’ Union in order to achieve higher efficiency. - To initiate disciplinary actions for non-compliance of the Standing Orders & Rules governing employment of the employees. - To prepare annual Budgetory estimates involving wages & other emoluments and to suggest effective measures to minimize costs & liabilities. - To take care of stores activities, viz Invoicing, Inventory, to keep a track on goods-in & goods-out on FIFO basis. - To control entire Accounting of Stores Statutory Functions Ensure compliance of all statutory requirements viz PF, ESI, Bonus etc. Ensure timely and prompt disbursement of all statutory payments & superannuation benefits. Process monthly wages correctly on time by deducting statutory contributions therefrom. Finalize Annual Income Tax Assessment and make arrangements for timely deposit of tax to the authority. Calculate annual accrual Gratuity liability and make provisions thereof. From June 2006 to August 2008 - Successfully owned/run a recruitment agency in India and sold before moving to settle in UK in 2008 From October 2008 until December 2015 served as General Manager in MEMSAAB UK LTD, HANDSWORTH, BIRMINGHAM, UK and was responsible to manage £5 million Turnover business of wholesale and retail outlets with major responsibilities include; • liaising with the customers and suppliers • Managing Sales and Purchases • Managing Company’s Finances • Handling imports and overall administration Since January 2016 acting as Director of two own Companies ie. Food and Recruitment Agency and both started off pleasing success.
