About Me

Ed has an extensive background in Human Resources, including more than 15 years of management-level experience in large, mid-size and small organizations. He has supported Board-level and C-suite executives in firms specializing in Retail Development (Starbucks) and Engineering & Construction (Fluor, Saulsbury Industries). He also developed and managed his first HR consulting practice, focused on recruiting, compensation and HR services, in 2003 prior to establishing Elk Ridge Consulting in 2014. Ed’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business & Human Resources Management, both from the University of South Carolina, and he holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. Ed relocated to the high foothills west of Denver in 2014 and recently moved his home and consulting practice to Breckenridge -- he loves the climate, people and dramatic scenery in the area. Ed’s passions are business, college football, exploring and learning.
