Managing Director

Purcellville, Virginia, United States

David Wilf brings over three decades of experience and education to include his Computer Science background at Drexel University, various certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Certified Implementation Expert, and Scrum Certified Instructor, and successful management of programs in excess of 30 million in DoD, civilian federal, information technology, manufacturing and financial sectors. David Wilf has also been instrumental in the establishment and quality control of industry standards with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and delivered lectures on leadership and quality management at various Federal agencies, Fortune 500 companies and federal conventions in Washington DC. After a very successful career of over three decades in positions from project manager to Vice President of Information Technology, David Wilf has decided to dedicate the rest of his career supporting adults with cognitive disabilities using techniques he developed to transform low performing individuals, teams and departments into high quality performers. These leadership tools and solutions he developed combined with vocational rehabilitation industry standards have formed the foundation of what is now known as the Ability2Work Program. Mr. Wilf takes a very hands-on open-door policy approach to management of each Ability2Work state program to ensure complete customer satisfaction and that all supported team members are given the same opportunities as everyone else in the form of training, support, mentoring, pay and career advancement. Throughout David’s career he has received numerous awards and recognitions but the two that have the most meaning to him are the “Champions of Disability Employment” award presented by the State of Virginia and the Congressional “Lead on Award” presented at Capitol Hill in Washington DC which reads the following. “In respectful recognition of your leadership, your commitment to, and your support of the quality employment for Americans with disabilities and for the qualified rehabilitation counselors who serve them.”

I find great people and help them to find excellent careers. This starts with a simple conversation about their values and aspirations. Then hopefully leads into their next career opportunity. I am a relationship first recruiter. My goal isn’t to interview the candidate, but to build and establish a relationship. That way we can identify your: strengths, weaknesses, but more importantly your passions. Then we can find the best carrier and client that will fit your desires. My joy in recruiting comes from, matching top-performing and hard working individuals with the right career move in the healthcare field.

Military veterans and spouses. I have partnered with service members and their families for over 6-years to grow in their current career or focus on a new one. I enjoy working and volunteering my time to partner with and educate human resource departments and hiring managers to employ veterans and their spouses. Working with my candidates, I will convert the military jargon to civilian language so that it is more applicable to the job they are applying to and I pre-screen them to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements of the job before submitting the applicant to the client. Pre-screening candidate and preparing them for the interview saves the client, candidate and myself time to focus on moving forward as quickly as possible.
