Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) recruits and trains high-achieving Black, Latinx, and Native American college students for challenging summer internships that lead to coveted full-time jobs. They are looking for a Vice President of People & Culture to help build and lead this new team.

In this role, you will ensure the achievement of human capital goals in partnership/alignment with broader operational initiatives in Finance, IT, and Real Estate to enhance the efficacy and impact of SEO’s programs. Moreover, you will also act as a thought partner for executive leadership overseeing SEO programming.

This role requires the ability to envision, evolve, and communicate a comprehensive People & Culture strategy that positions SEO as an employer of choice, engages and develops top talent, inspires cross-functional collaboration, and champions progressive people processes for sustainable growth.

Within SEO, there is an ensemble of 300+ scholarly, entrepreneurial, creative, analytical, collaborative, independent, results-driven, and mission-driven people. They are academic and career advisors, program designers and managers, business development and operations professionals, industry specialists, curriculum designers, and DEI
thinkers and leaders. It’s fast, changing, and never dull.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of the New York City office.  Eligible candidates must be within a commutable distance of 55 Exchange Place, NY, NY 10005.
