Recruiter.com Referral Program and Offer Terms

Certain users of Recruiter.com may choose to participate in the Recruiter.com referral program by inviting friends and other individuals to use the Recruiter.com platform. User participation in the Recruiter.com referral program is subject to the terms described herein, along with the rest of the Recruiter.com Terms and Conditions for users.


REFERRAL PROGRAM OFFER TERMS

Users that refer individuals to the Recruiter.com platform can receive $1,000 (the "Referral Bonus") by referring recruiters and employers to the Recruiter.com platform, when those recruiters and/or employers work successfully with Recruiter.com. Users will receive credit for a successful referral when a referred recruiter makes their first candidate placement on one of our jobs, or, when referring an employer, when that employer fills their first job with Recruiter.com.

To receive the $1,000 Referral Bonus:
  • You must be a user in good standing with Recruiter.com and be in compliance with its overall Terms and Conditions; and
  • The successful action (such as a placement for the referred recruiter or referred employer) must happen within one (1) year of the referral; and
  • The referred individual(s) must sign up to Recruiter.com through your personalized link; and
  • The net profit from the referred employer or recruiter’s placement with Recruiter.com must equal or exceed the amount of $1,000. In such case that the net profit from the placement does not equal or exceed the amount of $1,000, the Referral Bonus shall be considered 50% of the net profits from that specific business that Recruiter.com receives from that specific referred user’s placements, over a period of three (3) months.


PROGRAM TERMS

Eligibility

The Recruiter.com referral program is available online only to approved Recruiter.com Job Market platform users in good standing with Recruiter.com. To receive the Referral Bonus, you must satisfy these terms and your account with Recruiter.com must be active and in good standing when you have qualified to receive the Referral Bonus.

Referral Bonuses

  • The quantity of Referral Bonuses that you can receive is limited to five (5) Referral Bonuses per calendar year.
  • Please allow up to thirty (30) days to receive the referral bonus after the Referral Bonus has been qualified.
  • You are responsible for any and all associated bank or electronic transfer fees associated with the payment of the Referral Bonus to you.
  • You are responsible for any and all taxes due from having earned the Referral Bonus(es). Please consult with a tax professional or accountant if you have questions about the tax implications of the Referral Bonus payment.
  • In no case shall Referral Bonuses or profit overrides be construed or generalized to apply to all of Recruiter.com’s business. In all cases, users will receive Referral Bonuses only for the successful placements made by the specific users that they specifically refer.


Program Restrictions

  • If two (2) or more users refer the same individual, Recruiter.com will credit the Referral Bonus to the person whose referral link was first used to complete the sign-up process.
  • This program intends for you to invite only your business associates, personal friends, family and known acquaintances, to take advantage of the Recruiter.com platform, using the referral link and sharing tools that Recruiter.com provides. You may not share referrals with yourself or falsify identities or user accounts, nor use paid marketing or mass advertising to solicit referrals.
  • When you refer a user to Recruiter.com, any statements and information that you provide to Recruiter.com must be truthful, accurate, factually supported, not misleading, and reflect your honest beliefs, opinions, or experiences with Recruiter.com.
  • Any efforts to bypass, falsify, manipulate, obscure or otherwise modify the delivery and accurate presentation of the referral link, sharing tools, content, disclosures or other materials and instructions Recruiter.com provides will be considered a violation of the Terms of this referral program.
  • You must make sure that the individuals that you refer know that you may receive a Referral Bonus or other compensation from Recruiter.com if they successfully work with Recruiter.com.
  • You should not publish or distribute your referral links online or in other locations where the audience is likely to include individuals whom you do not know or who may not be interested in the Recruiter.com platform. That said, to the extent that you decide to post your referral link on any third-party website or platform, such as a social media website, you must also comply with that third-party’s terms of use, and make it clear to those who view your post that you will also receive a reward if they successfully work with Recruiter.com.
  • You should also be aware that by engaging in such activity on a third-party site that you will be, at your own risk, subjecting yourself to those third-party sites' privacy, security and consumer practices and policies which Recruiter.com does not endorse or control, and
  • You also acknowledge and accept that the individuals you refer will be able to tell that you are a Recruiter.com member and user.


When using the referring tool that Recruiter.com provides:

  • Recruiter.com may be the sender of the emailed invitations to the individual(s) that you refer, and Recruiter.com may disclose your name, email address and status as a member, and the fact that you will receive a bonus if they take advantage of the offer, in the emails we send to the individuals you refer, and
  • Some of the individuals you refer may not receive a referral e-mail if they have previously "opted out" of receiving e-mail marketing communications from Recruiter.com.
  • Any use of your own communication tools, such as email, must comply with all laws and local regulations, including but not limited to the CAN-SPAM ACT and GDPR compliance requirements.


Program Violations – Referral Bonus Forfeiture and/or Termination

  • Any violation or abuse of this referral program may result in the forfeiture of the Referral Bonus and/or your termination or suspension from participation on the Recruiter.com platform, web-site, online communities, and in this referral program.
  • Recruiter.com reserves the right to limit, cancel, or revoke Referral Bonuses if Recruiter.com determines, in its sole discretion, that you have violated these terms and conditions, or if we restrict or close your account pursuant to our Terms and Conditions with you.


Changes and Updates to the Referral Program and Additional Terms

  • Recruiter.com reserves the right to cancel, change, or otherwise discontinue the Referral Program at any time. You are deemed to be aware of and bound by such changes by your continued access to or participation in the referral program.
  • To the extent that Recruiter.com changes the offer terms or creates a different referral program, you can only avail yourself of those specific new referral offer terms if you resend invitation(s) to the individuals and that referred individual uses the new referral link that you send, instead of the old referral link.
  • We will indicate that changes have been made to these referral program terms by updating the "Date Last Updated" section located above at the beginning of these referral program terms and conditions. If you do not accept any such changes, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cease participation in the program.
  • If you received these referral program terms through a printed hard copy or in a digital format, such as a PDF or Word Document, please note that the referral program terms published online at Recruiter.com, with the most recent Date Last Updated, shall apply.
