icims recruiting softwareiCIMS, a provider of SaaS talent acquisition and recruiting software solutions, has announced the release of its newest update of Recruit: Career Site Search Engine Optimization, which allows recruiters to boost search engine rankings to draw more traffic to their organization’s career sites. The Career Site SEO helps to reduce dependence on other, external recruitment marketing techniques such as third-party job boards through the use of .JOBS Career Microsites which target the most relevant candidates by placing appropriate job postings at the top of their search results.

Clients can implement microsite bundles that point to specific job openings thus opening up more opportunities for landing on the first page of search results, a space typically dominated by job boards and other job aggregators. Microsites may also be customized with company-specific occupational terms, locations, and select keywords particular to the hiring needs of each company. Branding and multimedia content can also be integrated into the iCIMS solution to give companies the ability to make their microsites have the look and feel of their own unique corporate career site.

The solution’s social networking capability through the microsites give job seekers a way to connect with an organization using outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Automatic social sharing and job feeds help to generate increased job post visibility while spreading links that connect to suitable career pages.

“Job seekers today are utilizing major search engines more than ever in their quest for employment opportunities, and tapping into this vast pool of candidates is absolutely imperative for companies trying to find the most well suited individual for any given career opportunity,” said Susan Vitale, Chief Marketing Officer, iCIMS. “Forward-thinking recruiters who embrace this feature will dramatically decrease their reliance on third-party job boards while targeting the best talent through the use of a trusted top-level domain. The best part is, users will achieve all of these benefits while saving time and money and providing an engaging candidate experience.
