NewsEmployeeScreenIQ, global pre-employment screening  company, has released its third annual Employment Screening Trends Survey and the question to HR professionals is: What would you do when you find negative information about a potential employee? The survey takes about six minutes to complete and those that do will be entered in a prize drawing for an Apple iPad2.

With jobs being highly competitive, some job candidates will inflate resumes or neglect to mention criminal histories. This makes it more difficult for hiring managers when the truth is revealed. This survey asks human resource professionals how they might handle such occurrences. The survey also gauges opinions on topics such as the pros of social networking sites and the validity of online education and welcomes thoughts on what influences hiring decisions.

Chief marketing officer of EmployeeScreenIQ, Nick Fishman, states, “Over the past two years, the response to our annual survey has increased dramatically. This tells us that the HR world has an ongoing hunger for information as it grapples with a hiring climate where many applicants will do whatever it takes to get noticed. We are extremely grateful to all participants for investing their time and helping us to shine a brighter light on these issues.”

Everyone who participates in the survey will receive the results in January 2012 via a free download. For more information about EmployeeScreenIQ, visit http://www.EmployeeScreen.com.
