job print Express Employment Professionals, the nation’s largest, privately held staffing company, has partnered with job seekers and local businesses to put 9,612 people to work this holiday season. The company’s 172 Express offices across the U.S. and Canada implemented the Pay It Forward Holiday Hiring Drive, which will take place during various weeks this holiday season, to help match job seekers with companies seeking seasonal talent.

“To us, ‘pay it forward’ means working with local communities across the country to help connect the unemployed with area businesses in need of extra support this season,” Bob Funk, CEO and chairman of the board of Express, said. “Our goal is to lock arms with job seekers in an effort to bring hope to families for the holidays and help businesses find quality workers to handle the upswing during this time of year.”

From coast-to-coast. Express offices will participate in the hiring drive; each will set an individual goal and honor the campaign in different ways. Several offices are also partnering with local charities, making donations for every person they place in a job.

The company said businesses will benefit from joining Express’ hiring effort by gaining a qualified worker and giving the gift of employment to those who would otherwise be unemployed during the holidays.

Companies and individuals interested in participating in the Pay it Forward Holiday Hiring Drive can contact a local Express office.
