flexhourjobsFlex Hour Jobs has developed a new pricing structure for small businesses looking for telecommuting and flex-plan employees. The site creates the opportunity for job-seekers unable to relocate or work a traditional work schedule to find jobs that fit their lives. The site, flexhourjobs.com grants job-seekers free access to job postings.

Jobs are prescreened for legitimacy and may be seasonal, project-based, or permanent telecommuting positions. Acceptable job listings must offer some form of flexibility accommodating to individuals with unconventional scheduling needs such as single parents, caregivers, or other homebound workers.

The small business focus comes from the fact that the sector leads the hiring segment. The site offers another way for these companies to reach out to a largely untapped talent pool at budget pricing. Plans are paid on a per-post basis and range from $15 to $30 per post and seek to offer a more viable alternative to non-employment websites such as Craigslist. Job posts are listed for 60 days and directly connect applicants with the employer. The site offers a plan option that highlights job posting on its Flex Hour Jobs Radio Show aired several times over the week on both the Blog Talk Radio and Radio Ear Networks. Each post utilizing this “maximum exposure” option receives one minute of radio sponsorship time on the radio show and is given enhanced visibility on the website and the major social media websites.

Commenting on the nature of jobs posted on flexhourjobs.com, site founder Jacqueline Sloboda states, “Many of the positions are partial telecommuting, allowing employees to work from the office some of the days of the week, and work from home part of the week.”
