HealthITJobs.com Releases First Healthcare IT Career Search Mobile App

Healthcare IT job distribution service HealthITJobs.com recently launched two mobile applications allowing busy healthcare IT professionals to search for employment on their smart phones. According to the company, the two native apps for iPhone and Android “position the company as the industry leader in using mobile technology for employment search and recruitment.”

“As smartphone adoption continues to outpace computers, it’s driving a change in how people look for employment and in how employers interact with potential hires,” Tim Cannon, vice president of Product Management for HealthITJobs.com, said.

Features of the app include:

• Job seekers can stay connected wherever they are and manage their careers with ease and flexibility

• Fully synchronized with the website, i.e. saved searches, applications, and messages are updated in real time on both the app and the website

• Conduct an advanced health IT job search using the app or save the search and receive real-time alerts on phones when new jobs matching candidates’ criteria become available

• Apply with minimal effort using LinkedIn profile

“Creating native apps for both iPhone and Android was important to us,” Cannon said. “This allowed us to take advantage of all the phones’ functionality and provide the best user experience.”

The HealthITJobs.com iPhone app can be downloaded from the app store and the Android app from the Google play store.
