LinkedIn job-search-appThe world’s largest professional network, LinkedIn, has some exciting news. The company recently released its Job Search app for iOS, making it even easier for LinkedIn members to find, research and apply for jobs on LinkedIn.  According to LinkedIn’s Daniel Ayele, the LinkedIn Job Search App is “a dedicated Jobs experience that gives our members all the tools they need to find and land their next dream job.”

Ayele goes on to explain how the new app helps recruiters:

-Gives members more opportunities to engage with company jobs. Businesses’ LinkedIn Jobs will now have even more visibility and distribution and job seekers will have a more robust mobile experience. They’ll be able to conduct location-based searches, see recommendations based on their viewing history, and track which jobs they’ve recently viewed or applied to.

-Automatically expands talent brand efforts. For its customers with LinkedIn Career Pages, LinkedIn will now incorporate their rich media content into their job descriptions and mobile Company Page in the app, providing another opportunity to showcase their employer brand and culture.

-Simplifies the mobile application process. If a company collects applications in Recruiter, members will be able to apply to their jobs through LinkedIn’s Mobile Apply flow in just a few clicks. If they collect applications on an outside career site or ATS, members will be directed to the regular application destination.

According to LinkedIn, this first release of the Job Search app is for iOS users in the United States.
