people in bubbleLinkedIn has 109 million American and Canadian members, and it wants to offer employer brand information to benefit every one of them. To do so, the largest professional networking site has analyzed interactions between American and Canadian members and companies to compile a list of the most sought after businesses by these two types of users.

The North American users spoke, and LinkedIn has listened as the company recently released its annual rankings of North America’s Most InDemand Employers: 2014.

The companies comprising the list hailed from a range of industries including Entertainment and Marketing & Advertising to Oil and Management Consulting.

So, what companies rounded out this year’s top 10? The list includes:

1. Google

2. Apple

3. Amazon.com

4. Facebook

5. Salesforce.com

6. Disney

7. Nike

8. Microsoft

9. McKinsey & Company

10. Pepsico

San Francisco, Greater New York City and Seattle were the top three cities with the highest number of InDemand employers. Greater Los Angeles, Boston and Vancouver rounded out the top six.

The complete list includes 50 of the most InDemand employers, with Accenture, Deloitte and Microsoft as the three largest on this year’s list and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Netflix and Razorfish as the smallest three employers.
