Proven LogoOn-the-go employment app Proven recently announced an update for Android featuring Indeed.com integration, Dropbox integration and location-based search. The update will make it easier for job seekers to search and apply for jobs from mobile devices and browse a more expanded list of job postings.

Other enhancements of the app include:

  • New, rich job description view —including a map of the location
  • Send resume as attachment, in body of email or both
  • Bug fixes

“We are excited to continue to lead the way in mobile job applications. The integration with Indeed multiplies the available jobs on the platform, and thanks to feedback from our users, it is easier than ever to import a resume into the app,” Pablo Fuentes, CEO of Proven, said.

Users can now import their resumes and cover letters from Dropbox, sync and access both materials along with saved jobs and ‘favorited’ job postings at any time from the Job Search app or the website. By using the location-based search feature, job seekers can also search for job postings based on their current location.

Proven, which is also available for iPhone and iPad, says the comapny “makes it easy to search through the latest Craigslist and Indeed job postings and apply to them in seconds, get notified when new jobs are available, share postings with friends via text or e-mail and receive expert advice while job hunting on the go.”
