recruiting_trends_conference_logo_2013 It’s that time of year again! The 2013 Recruiting Trends Conference is heading to Las Vegas this year—and the folks at Recruiting Trends, a leading resource for the employee recruitment industry, want you there.

The event, offering a wide range of learning opportunities for recruiters, sourcers, talent acquisition managers and other HR and recruiting professionals, will take place at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Oct. 22-25.

Recruiting Trends recently announced the keynote speakers for this year’s conference: Lars Schmidt, Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition & Innovation, NPR, and Kim Rutledge, Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, SunPower Corporation.

The conference will be jam packed with events and sessions on a range of topics from the impact of Big Data and basic recruiting to employer banding and quality of hire. This year’s conference aims to help every recruiter learn how to become STARS:

Oct. 22

Pre-conference offerings complete with a Sourcing Summit, Big Data Summit, and specialized workshops.

Oct. 23

Main conference kicks off with TrendSetters, an engaging and entertaining presentation where attendees learn about new technologies to enhance their recruiting performance.

Oct. 24

First full day of the main conference where Keynote Speaker Schmidt addresses the audience. Attendees will be introduced to a great panel of experts and practitioners in an engaging talk show format.

 Oct. 25

Keynote Speaker Rutledge addresses the audience. Attendees will also have the opportunity to choose who, from among Thursday’s presenters, they want to learn more from and can meet with these presenters in small workshops or consultative sessions.
