softwareHealthcareSource, a leading provider of talent management solutions within the healthcare industry, has launched its HealthcareSource Reference Assessment; an automated, cloud-based reference checking program. The software allows jobs applicants to e-invite references to anonymously complete an online survey rating the applicant’s behavior. Using an evaluation method developed using behavioral science, survey results are validated and used to predict how well a job candidate will fit within a particular health care job and organizational culture.

In addition to improving and automating the overall screening process, the new reference assessment tool saves time, allows HR personnel to shift focus from tactical activities to strategic planning, increases the response rate of references, and leads to lower turnover.
