news myJoblinx – a Facebook recruitment application that leverages the power of social media to connect recruiters with top talent, recently previewed their namesake product to the public at the Northern California Human Resources Association’s staffing and talent management conference. While the social recruiting solution  has garnered vigorously positive reviews from its select audience of beta testers, myJoblinx – the platform designed by recruiters, for recruiters – has yet to see a full release.

“myJoblinx was designed to harness the power of social media for recruiting from the giant, untapped pool of talent who uses Facebook, while at the same time showcasing an employer’s brand,” said Edward Avila, myJoblinx co-founder and chief executive officer. “Even during difficult economic times, the war for talent continues. With myJoblinx, recruiters have a practical application that fuels social media recruiting with the power and usefulness it has lacked, while protecting the users’ privacy.”

The app allows 750 million prospective Facebook users to search and apply for jobs off companies’ fan pages. For the jobseeker, myJoblinx puts the premium on privacy – no wall posts, photos, messages, or confidential user information is shared with employers. But recruiters will find the most impressive aspects of  myJoblinx lie in its analytics system that keeps detailed metrics on jobs searched, viewed, shared, and applied for – through Facebook, Linkedin and other channels of social media.

Other features abound, including video functionality and intelligent candidate identification. As confirmed in a recent press release: “myJoblinx enables employers to easily integrate branded video, request and track referrals, and create a Talent Network, which updates automatically, to identify and communicate with potential employees who best fit available positions.” Additional social recruitment tools are planned for launch in the Fall.

Naturally many companies are developing recruiting software systems that leverage Facebook. The social job referral sector of the recruiting technology market has received particular attention and investment as of late.
