darts on targetWorkplace management software provider Asure Software has acquired PeopleCube to expand Asure’s services to include on-demand workplace management solutions, such as real estate minimization, meeting services, travel, and energy costs. The purchase price was composed of a combination of cash and stocks and allows Asure to re-finance some of its current debt.

Independently, Asure Software serves over 3,500 clients of all sizes and offers services ranging from time and attendance workforce management solutions, meeting room management, and asset optimization. PeopleCube serves 8,000 clients with on-demand workplace management solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. PeopleCube will carry over its products including Resource Scheduler, Workspace Manager, PeopleCounter, Workplace Business Intelligence, and Energy Management solutions for acquisition into the new AsureSpace business line.

“PeopleCube’s product suite of workplace management solutions helps companies improve efficiencies in workplaces every day, and is directly in line with the Asure Software strategy,” Pat Goepel, Asure’s chief executive officer, said. “We are excited to integrate best practices of the PeopleCube product line to the Asure solution set. The enterprise service model will greatly improve our ability to bring solutions to companies of all sizes in a much larger marketplace.”

“This acquisition creates a global leader in providing solutions that manage workspace environments,” John Anderson, former president and chief executive officer of PeopleCube, said. “The overall suite of available products and services extends Asure’s reach to the workspace management needs of organizations around the world.” Anderson will remain at the helm of the company after the acquisition is complete.
