The app, C4C Mobile Compliance Officer, is available for free in the iTunes App Store and can be customized for any company.

The tool can be customized with company logos, colors, and policies and allows employees to view compliance tips on-the-go and submit compliance issues internally. Compliance topics added to the app include anti-corruption/bribery, international trade/ exports, privacy, conflicts of interest, protecting confidential information, antitrust and competition, social media, workplace respect, and investigations. Currently available tips address a variety of compliance issues including gifts, travel, meals/entertainment, security breaches, working with relatives, protected information, trade associations, bidding, social media big rules, harassment prevention, third parties, and red flags.

“Building on the anti-corruption/bribery version of the app that we launched in May, 2012, we now have 10 compliance topics in a customizable format so companies can include their logos, policies, and links. There is even a “Report It” button that can link to their compliance database,” said Farzad Barkhordari, founder and CEO of Click 4 Compliance.

“It gives them easy-to-follow compliance tips and reminders with everyday business scenarios right on their phones. Topics include Conflicts of Interest, Privacy/Data Breach, Antitrust, Social Media, Trade Compliance, Harassment Prevention, etc.,” Mr. Barkhordari continued.
