acumen 6.0 releases Deltek, a leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, has announced the release of Deltek Acumen 6.0, a solution for delivering insight into schedule quality and project accuracy. The new features and integrations deliver visibility into project achievability, enabling consistent project success.

The Deltek Acumen product suite offers a five-stage approach to improving project maturity and completion success. Acumen 6.0’s added integration with key scheduling platforms, new and enhanced features, and seamless sync with Deltek RiskBook risk registers help companies achieve project success faster and with more consistency.

The new version of Acumen includes:

  • Users can pinpoint the areas of a project that are most crucial to on-time execution using the Logic Trace capability and identify where to focus mitigation energy and efforts through the Critical Schedule Drivers report.
  • Users can add duration uncertainties, risk impacts, and risk event mappings in hours to better accommodate short or accelerated project timelines.
  • Acumen now includes a seamless sync with risk registers developed in Deltek RiskBook. RiskBook pushes risk register information, including team polls on risk scores, into Acumen Risk to be incorporated into a schedule or cost risk analysis.
  • Safran users can now take advantage of the schedule diagnostic and reliability improvement functionality of the Deltek Acumen suite with the new capability to import Safran schedules.

“One of the key benefits to Acumen users has always been our solutions’ broad integration with numerous scheduling platforms. While Deltek’s scheduling solutions are world-class, our goal has never been to restrict users into a certain platform. Instead, we want to enable Acumen users to assess and improve the plans they have created regardless of their planning tool,” said Namita Dhallan, Executive VP of Product Strategy and Engineering at Deltek. “We’ve furthered this initiative by adding integration with Safran Project. We will continue to offer users the ability to make the most out of their scheduling tool of choice by integrating with our world-class Acumen solution suite.”
