news eQuest and OptiJob announced an exclusive partnership today, one which allows companies more visibility as they search for prospective candidates. The special service, called MIX – brings together a vast network of participating social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Viadeo and XING – as well as other unannounced or emerging social networks.

“Both organizations are committed to providing customers with a comprehensive alternative in the social media and mobile recruitment outreach space,” said Chris Amato, Founder and President of OptiJob. “eQuest has always been the premier global jobs distribution company. Combined with OptiJob’s social media and mobile distribution platform with real-time behavioral statistics and performance metrics, the MIX partnership is a perfect fit.”

MIX offers an additional service called MIX Mobile, an intriguing interface that allows job seekers to view and apply for jobs on their mobile devices.

This type of mobile recruitment offering has proved to be a growing trend as more and more companies adopt the on-the-go technology as part of their overall strategy. As predicted by Gartner Research, “By 2013, mobile phones will overtake PCs as the most common Web access device worldwide.”

The future for MIX certainly looks bright –  it’s customizable platform promises to deliver further innovations.
