Perhaps it was your body language that sabotaged you.

Interviewers place a pretty big emphasis on candidate body language, and for good reason: It can reveal things about a candidate that don’t come across in their resume or their interview answers. For example, if your answers were on point but you failed to make eye contact with the interviewer while delivering them, that may be a sign you’re lacking in the confidence department.
