ATS/CRM databases as primary hiring sources Jobscience, a leading CRM-based recruiting firm, has announced Jobscience PowerSearch, a visual interactive ATS /CRM search tool within the Jobscience platform. The tool requires no training and broadens the usability of internal ATS/CRM databases, essentially transforming them into primary sources of hires.

“In today’s world where consumer application user experience is the new standard for enterprise applications, recruiters should not require a Boolean Black Belt to get maximum value out of their ATS system,” Miranda Nash, president of Jobscience, said. “In addition, even the most experienced user is forced to guess which search queries will deliver the best results due to the ‘black box’ nature of existing ATS/CRM search tools, which offer no visibility into the relevance of the dataset. These challenges lead to recruiting organizations continually reinvesting in ‘filling the funnel’ with outside candidates rather than mining their own database, which is cumbersome and requires esoteric skills.”

Jobscience PowerSearch “consumerizes” the talent search through the combination of visual, interactive search functions with domain-specific contextual search, keyword search, and geospatial search technologies for precise and consistent search results.

Key features of Jobscience PowerSearch include:

• JFactors – A feature that turns unstructured resume content into the uniform, visual components of a talent profile. Components are created using structured, domain-specific JFactors to be used for consistent searching and talent comparisons.

• Visual interactive search – A graphical user interface and response search results for interactive exploration and refined searches.

• Visual validation – Transparent search results give users a look at search accuracy through visual identification of terms within results.

Jobscience PowerSearch is available through an open beta program and is sold as a part of the Jobscience platform.
