Mobile Employee Self-Service App Lets Employees Clock In Anywhere
Attendance on Demand, an employee time and attendance service, has announced Employee Self Service (ESS) Mobile, an adaptive mobile technology and employee notification application. ESS Mobile adapts each employee’s home screen to what he or she needs to do and how that employee works. Notifications appear only when an employee needs to take an action involving missed punches, time card approvals, or reading messages. The single-app solution presents different operations (Punch button, Enter Hours button, request time off, etc.) to employees based on their permissions.
ESS Mobile notifications provide instant alerts for significant events and can notify employees of missed punches, the need for time card approval, and other specific conditions. Employees may also notify management of tardiness or absence.
“With Attendance on Demand ESS Mobile, employees are accountable for their time tracking–all from the convenience of their mobile device,” says Beth Baerman, Director of Communications. “Employees become responsible for correcting their own time cards; supervisors simply approve employee edits.
