myoptimalcareer logo Career solutions provider ThinkOptimal has announced the launch of MyOptimalCareer, a suite of job-searching tools designed to manage all phases of the job search, at the individual level. The one-package solution includes webcam-based interview practice with a script of more than 1,000 questions, tools for building an online portfolio, constructing a video resume, creating a professional website, and generating a polished resume for specific industries.

“In today’s job market, candidates need more than great resumes and cover letters. All too often, they fail to realize that a resume is meant to get you an interview, not the job. Interviewing is where you make or break the deal, and the interview process has evolved into a multi-hurdle obstacle course with phone screenings, online interviews, and live, face-to-face meetings,” Mark McNasby, ThinkOptimal CEO, said. “This is where MyOptimalCareer gives the job candidate an edge. While our product creates quality resumes and cover letters quickly and easily, we go further. We prepare you for the crucial, all-decisive interview phase of the job search process. Our InterviewCoach is a powerful tool that allows job seekers to practice, record, review, and refine their interview skills. Our goal is not just to help you get your foot in the door. We want to help you land the job.”

The InterviewCoach platform includes four interviewer personas with user controls to determine mock interview length, format, and specific interview scenarios. Users also have the option to record in multiple formats, such as voice and video. Feedback is available from both self-critique and other advisors who can watch and comment on interview performance.
