New .CAREER Top Level Domain (TLD) Set to Launch

DotCareer LLC has announced the launch of .CAREER. The first phase of the launch is the .CAREER “End Date” Sunrise Period beginning on June 16th, 2014 for 60 days. During the Sunrise Period, registrants with validated marks in the Trademark Clearinghouse may submit an application for an available domain name in .CAREER that matches their mark in the Trademark Clearinghouse.

Upon close of the Sunrise Period, the Claims Notice Period will commence for 90 days. Registration of any available domain names in .CAREER will be on a first come, first served basis through any .CAREER participating registrar. Following the Sunrise Period, Premium Domain Names in .CAREER (such as TECHNOLOGY.CAREER or NURSING.CAREER) will be available. The list of Premium Names in .CAREER is relatively short.
