Since April, Recruiter.com has been tracking recruiter sentiment and hiring activity through the Recruiter Index®, an ongoing survey of recruiters and hiring professionals on the front lines of the job market today.

September’s survey found recruiters feeling more optimistic than they have at any point since the start of the pandemic. Average workloads are up from 14 open roles per recruiter in August to 16 in September, although they’re still trailing behind 2019 workloads.

Recruiter.com CEO Evan Sohn appeared on CNBC to discuss the results with Kelly Evans. View the video below for more details:

Recruiter.com also held a special panel to talk about the Recruiter Index® in depth. Panelists included Julia Pollak, labor economist with ZipRecruiter; Allan Cutter, CEO of AC Lion; Tom Milic, CFO of IQ Talent; and Evan Sohn and Miles Jennings from Recruiter.com.
