We have good news for those of you in – or looking to join – the line of medical sales: has just released the results of the “Fifth Annual Best Places to Work in Medical Sales Awards.”

Topping MedReps’s list are Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Stryker. Just what makes these companies great places to work for medical sales professionals? According to the professionals whom MedReps surveyed for the awards, it’s things like commitments to innovation, competitive compensation, and strong product lines that elevate these companies above the rest of the industry.

It’s also important to note that, even though 42 percent of respondents said their current employer was the best place to work for medical sales reps, 47 percent of respondents said they were likely to leave their jobs in the coming year. Employers, do take note: Many of your medical sales reps may be itching to strike out for greener pastures.
