Freedom Telecare’s Timesheet Mobile, an employee time clock and location tracking app for iPhone and Android, now includes Punch Prompt functionality. The new tool uses the GPS location features in smartphone apps to create a geofence around an employee’s punch-in location at remote work sites. The app monitors the location of employees while on the clock and prompts the employee to punch out if he or she leaves the work area. The app also creates a record for the time an employee leaves a work site and sends an email alert to the manager.

Punch Prompt provides workers and managers with real-time alerts and provides a timestamp entry on the web portal’s log sheet displaying the time of departure and jobsite information. The updated app is available on Google Play and iTunes.
