Truven Health Analytics Launches Reporting Solution to Help Manage Healthcare Costs
Truven Health Analytics has announced the launch of Employer Insights, an account-group reporting solution and part of the Truven Health Advantage Suite platform. The web-based solution gives insurers and employers comprehensive analytics to manage healthcare costs and improve care while allowing them to compare costs to national benchmarks. In addition to cross-referencing capabilities for categories of information such as location, plan type, and job type, Employer Insight generates cost performance reports to help employers make intelligent health-benefits decisions.

Employer Insights utilizes the Truven Health MarketScan Commercial Claims and Encounters Database that incorporates about 30 million anonymized private insurances claims yearly.
