Twitter Chat for HR Professionals Set for December 2nd

HR professionals will benefit from a Twitter chat called “#HRTechChat” that will be hosted by TalentManagementTech.com and Hrmarketer.com on December 2, 2011 at 2p.m. E.T. Utilizing B2B marketing software, the Twitter chat will be held twice a month and will feature news and discussion in the human resource technology  field and its influence in the business world today.

The topics for the chats will come from SocialEars, which is a unique tool by Hrmarketer.com that gathers and analyzes thousands of HR professional’s tweets, blogs, and online literature. The first few chats will hone in on the latest trends in the HR field, such as applicant screening and assessing, mobile recruiting, and HR outsourcing.

According to Kevin W. Grossman, co-host of #HRTechChat, “Twitter chats provide an online forum that all professionals can easily participate in from their Twitter client of choice, and all in 140 characters or less. We decided to launch #HRTechChat because out of the dozens in the great HR B2B space, there wasn’t one dedicated to HR technology and business today. More and more HR practitioners, business executives and HR vendors alike are connecting in social networks like Twitter.”

Plans to host a weekly chat are in the future, as the goal is to coincide the chats with “#Tchat-The World of Work”, which is a Twitter chat by Grossman and Meghan M. Biro. Brent Skinner will be co-hosting the show, bringing his experience as a contributing editor.
