worksend connects businesses with freelancers Work Market, the online solution helping companies find, manage and grow their freelance workforce, has announced the launch of WorkSend, the company’s latest release for bringing best-in-class technology solutions for finding and managing on-demand, freelance workforces.

“We are in the midst of a transformational moment as the number of freelance workers is expected be over 50 million by 2020. The freelance workstream will increasingly require the same caliber of processes, systems and tools to find and manage freelancers that are on par with those being used around full time opportunities,” Jeff Leventhal, CEO of Work Market, said. “WorkSend is a prime example of this. With WorkSend, our proprietary algorithm leverages Big Data from our eco-system to connect employers with those freelancers that are best suited to their assignments.”

In using WorkSend, businesses can expect increased efficiency in finding freelancers. and freelancers can expect more access to opportunities in the job market. Historically, assigning freelance work has been a manual process requiring several people and days to fill an assignment.

To use WorkSend, businesses need to check a box that indicates they want Work Market to use the proprietary algorithm to invite resources to apply for the freelance position advertised. The WorkSend data analytics algorithm accounts for customer preferences and searches through qualifications, geographic locations, availability and experience in order to recommend the candidates most suited for a particular assignment. Once selected, the candidates are sent to businesses where they can directly screen and hire the candidates.
